Nadine is a straight forward gal. I've had a lot of fun stalking her blog. I like how she can see the difference of maturity in three years difference of age. I like how she admires the beauty of her family, especially her grandmother. I like her "30-by-30", and I'm going to help encourage her start running, now. We do have a great thing in common, we like to take photos of our dog, dogs for me, and show them off. The one thing I'm confused about, is loving the east coast weather, over the west coat.

Wow, this weekend seemed like it was forever, and I didn't get much accomplished on my blog.  I always say I'm going to get so much done!  We had a kid home from college and another visiting for two days.  Busy, busy!  I'm not even going to say I'll be getting more done tonight and this week will be a great one for accomplishments.  shhhhhh I might jinx myself.

Annelise, A.K.A. Aunie, is a beauty! Aunie is a busy girl as she dishes out the sauce on her blog, Aunie Sauce.  She has "3" other blogs as well as this one.  I don't know how she does it all.  We have both lived in OK, so I feel a kinship :) The really cool part, she did a Marathon Run yesterday with her mom!  That's 26.2 miles peoples, all at once.

Okay, Bree, is the coolest.  I just love everything about her.  Her expressions, her silliness and her choice of dogs! PUG people!!  I have to say the cat is a cool choice also.  She's also a tattooed knitter, how cool is that combo? I randomly picked my first, the adorable Marla, from A Weekend Crossing. Just your California gal! I really like that Marla's blog is about travel and self-experiences. _____________________________ THE OCTOBER DAILY _____________________________ Topic: Go without something (e.g., phone, twitter) for a day and tell us what it feels like.
It feels odd.  I use my iPad and iPhone a lot for my blogging, and tweeting and Instagram and a little bit of Facebook.  I don't use Facebook as often, these days anyway.  Only for family stiff, since I've started blogging so much. Any family members that follow my Effie Girl twitter, have probably 'un-followed' me.  I don't do as much as some of you, but I've been doing a lot. My personal twitter probably hasn't had a tweet in months.   My iMac, is the one thing I missed all weekend!  Never mind just one day Saturday, but Friday night and most of Sunday.  I do the main parts of any writing, editing, posting, etc., on my computer, and it was hard going so long without it.  Daily life took me away from it all, but then realizing I had to do it for a whole 24-hours for The Daily, I knew it would be hard.  Now I'm back, it's 1:19 AM, another late night, as usual.  I think I just said I would be doing better this weekend, to avoid those late nights! HA!

It was definitely a Blog Stalking Sunday for me!  Always my favorite time of the blogging week, when I just go around to many different bloggers and read, leaving comments everywhere.  Then I pick my three for my Sunday shout-out.  I hope you enjoy this weeks picks!

Tracie has been blogging since 2006!  Wow, I hope I make it one-year.  This stuff isn't always easy.  I'm sure many can agree. She has lots of inspiration to share, as well as projects and adventures. Check out her collaboration with a couple other gals at LOVE. WORK. REPEAT. Can I also mention she is starting her own stationery line!  Tracie is, phenomenal.

This is Taylor. Her and her hubster are coffee addicts :) Me and my hubster can relate.  Although, I have to say since eating mostly RAW, I sometime forget my daily cup of coffee. Taylor and hubster, her husbter of course, are adorable.  Proof here. We actually both started our blogging adventure, May this year, just a couple days apart.  More about Taylor here.  She's so cute, and adorable.  So are her 'kids'.

Lastly...

Stephanie just started blogging in June, this year.  We need to send some love her way, encourage her to keep up her cute blogging. She's a busy gal, with cute fur-babies, a handsome hubster, and she's running a heck of a lot more miles than me lately!  Kudos to you, Stephanie!!

Here is my photo of something old:

This is a chair recently given to me, from my Aunt Eleanor.  The sweetest woman I know, btw. It belonged to my great-grandmother, which means this chair is well over 100-years old.  My Grammy :) lived to be 99-years old, so her mother being my Great-Grammy, had it before my Gram.  I am so honored to have this chair. It is built solid. So much better than furniture made today.  My Gram was a wonderful woman, her story is beautiful, another blog post someday, maybe. I am so happy to have this piece of my past, it warms my heart to see it in my home. I'm going to take this chair, honor it by bringing to a whole new life.

Blog Stalking Sunday's, #16!

Yay, I got to stalk today and I'm happy to be sharing my shout-outs with you!  If you've visited my blog Sunday night, you got a sneak-peak under the Blog Stalking Sundays Shout Outs section.  Unfortunately, I didn't have to time to size their titles, but I'll work on that for Monday.  Apologies!

From the Two Hot Potatoes, I found Lucy's Kitchen Notebook.  LOVE it!  I cannot wait to try her bouquet bread, it looks fabulous! She writes of beautiful France, food, travel and shares beautiful photography. I believe she was inspired by her own mother to share her creativity!  I am so happy she did, she's beautiful and engaging.

OH. MY. GAWD. Yummy and yummy and so creative!  Bakerella's latest BOO HISS post is adorable.  To think she just took a class and never stopped baking.  Wouldn't that be fun.  She even has reindeer pops, so start practicing and get ready for the holidays!

  Kelly is full of resources.  She shares knowledge about raising children and their behaviors, she home schools, and she's got three of the cutest boys!  Let's not forget how crafty she is.  If you are into natural remedies, Kelly has some information you might be interested in.  
Neat Little Nest ORGANIZING LIFE BEAUTIFULLY Michele is so neat and organized, I feel like a flat out mess!  Wow.  That's all I can say.  Even her blog is neat, clean and simple.  I want to be her.  Live in her home. I want her to come to my home so I can stop procrastinating.  Michele should do this for a living, into other peeps homes.  I'd be her number-one customer.  Heck, I'll bring clients to her!  Go there.  Seriously.
